Oman tourism sector forecast to add $785m to GDP by 2026

Oman’s tourism and hospitality industry is building momentum, with total investment in the sector set to hit $1.17 billion by 2026, according to the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC). Oman set to announce new bond amid $7.8bn deficit

The government of Oman is expected to announce the launch of a new US dollar bond issue this week as it seeks to plug a budget deficit caused by low oil prices, sources familiar with the matter said on Tuesday. Oman's budget airline SalamAir launches ticket sales

SalamAir has launched ticket sales for its flights between Salalah and Muscat and flights from Muscat to Dubai. SalamAir will launch its service to Salalah on January 30, and to Dubai Al Maktoum International Airport on February 15.
